Four fielders chase one ball at ‘The G’!
Meanwhile, a hilarious video of Brisbane Heat fielders’ hilarious fielding effort at the Melbourne Cricket Ground is doing rounds on social media. In the video, as many as four fielders of the Brisbane-based side ran after the ball while trying to save a boundary. The fielders were successful but ended up giving an extra run due to a misfield. The episode occurred after Stars’ batsman Thomas Rogers played a fiery cut shot against Michael Neser.
Usman Khawaja, who was recently named the skipper of the Brisbane Heat was spotted laughing while covering the stumps. Michael Neser, who was the bowler, too, had a smile on his face while walking back to the run-up.
“Little bit of width and Rogers finds a gap… they’re gonna get three here. Well, there’re four of them there! How many times we have seen that? That’s not a triangle, that is a quadrangle. That’s exactly what coach wants to see, everyone involved in the game.” commentators said while describing the incident on-air
