The star-studded Australian team registered a comprehensive victory over Nicholas Pooran-led West Indies today (Friday) in the second T20I of the series. It was an all-round performance from the homeside which eventually enabled them to achieve a huge 31-run triumph.
The victory in the all-important encounter marked a significant series win for the Men In Yellow as it was a brief two-match series. Australia will be pretty happy with their performance in both the games, creating some serious momentum heading into the upcoming T20 World Cup.
The Aaron Finch-led side is now eyeing on their next assignment, which is a three-match T20I series against Jos Buttler’s England. It will be their last outing before the T20 World Cup 2022 and will certainly play a huge role in providing the players with the much-needed game time.

Meanwhile, The young Australian sensation Tim David managed to grab some eyeballs with a quickfire knock in the second T20I against the Windies today (Friday). David played a quickfire innings of 42 runs off just 20 deliveries which helped the homeside post a par total on the board.
Batting at number 6, Tim David was the second top run-getter after David Warner in this game. He came in to bat in a tough situation, but did not hesitate to play risky strokes throughout the innings. The cameo featured three mammoth maximums and four boundaries.
A huge 110-meter six remained the highlight of the entertaining innings. The incident happened in the 17th over of the innings, where David played an aggressive pull-shot against premier West Indies pacer namely Obed McCoy. The shot stunned everyone including his teammates, fans, commentators as well as the bowler himself.
