He is a little bit emotional about his retirement and said ”I have represented my country at the highest level and will always be my highest achievement,” he said in a statement. “The joy and the pride from it is something I’ll cherish throughout my career. “Cricket is a universal game and I believe in finishing at the highest level. So I had to take this decision and seek better opportunities for myself and my family around the world. I am also clear that Karnataka has abundant fast bowling of talent and they would miss out opportunities at the right time if I prolong my career.”

Abhimanyu Mithun is an impressive fast-time bowler and nicknamed an express bowler from former RCB coach Ray Jennings. He’s having an impressive first-class career but lacks an international one. Besides being dropped from the international side he goes on showing his consistent bowling performance. If he got more chances he will emerge as one of the most dominant bowlers on the Indian side.
He played international matches which includes four test matches. 12 wickets in his overall international career. He has 211 wickets in a first-class career which shows that he is enriched with capacity and ability to perform. He also has a 97 LIST A career, which marks his dominance in the domestic circuit.
